To be eligible for coverage, location services must have been enabled on the lost or stolen device at the time of the incident through the Akko app. This ensures we can verify and process your claim accurately. For devices reported as stolen, you will also need to file a police report with your local agency and provide a copy of it to us. The police report serves as a critical part of the claims process and must be submitted before the claim can be approved.
Once these requirements are met, our team will work with Akko to replace your device in accordance with their terms and conditions. The replacement process is designed to be smooth and efficient, ensuring you’re back to using a fully functioning device as soon as possible.
