When scheduling an on-site repair with us, we want to ensure the process is smooth and convenient. Below are a few key points to help you prepare for your technician’s visit.

Work Area Setup

We'll need a clean, flat, and dry surface to work on, such as a dining table, desk, or kitchen island. The area should be well-lit and close to a power outlet, though our power consumption will be minimal.

Safety Precautions for Pets and Children

While we love pets, it's essential they are secured during the repair process. Small parts and tools can pose a danger to both pets and children, so keeping them in a seperate space is recommended.

Customer Age Requirements

An adult, 18 years of age or older, must be present throughout the entire repair process. This ensures that everything runs smoothly and that you can address any concerns directly with the technician.

Technician Identification

Our technician will arrive in company attire, which may include a t-shirt, polo, jacket, or hat. They will wear clean jeans and sneakers, and might use booties to prevent tracking debris into your home based upon current weather condition. For everyone's protection, they may also wear a mask. Additionally, they will always use gloves and eye protection during the repair process.

Estimates Time of Repair

Most repairs take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the complexity. Your technician will provide you with a more specific estimate when they arrive.

Payment and Warranty Information

Payment is required at the time of service completion unless you’ve pre-paid online. Our technicians accept all major debit and credit cards, personal/business checks, Cash App, or Venmo. For their protection, they are not permitted to accept cash.

Our repairs are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which covers both the technician's workmanship and the parts used. However, it does not cover accidental or intentional damage.

What Happens If the Repair Can’t Be Completed On-Site

While rare, if a repair cannot be completed on-site due to additional parts or specialized equipment being needed, we will schedule a follow-up visit. If the repair required exceeds the initial scope of work, there may be an additional charge. However, if it falls within the original scope, there will be no extra charge.

We hope this guide helps you feel prepared for your upcoming repair. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
